What is the most creative thing you have ever made? Share what it was and explain why it stands out as your best work.

The most creative thing I think ive ever made is my vision board. Its when you make a board of goals you want to acheive within the duration of the year. Everyone’s is different (different ptterns, goals, and acheivements). I think mine is creative because I think it shows my personality in a way.

Analyze how you’ve adapted to the demands of this course over the past week, and evaluate one strength and one challenge you anticipate as we progress, justifying your insights with personal examples.

By taking this course I've adapted by taking more creativity into inspiration, along with writing prompts everyday. One strength I think I've accomplished was being more detailed and making stronger points in my writing. For example I think my writing has grown since blog posting. A challenge I anticipate as we progress is writing slump because sometimes I feel as though I get lazy or unmotivated in my writing so it doesn't reach its best potential.

Write about a meaningful object or place in your life that carries a story.

My meaningful place is where I grew up in Chicage. Although, I moved away in early 2020 and don't go to visit as much anymore. It still holds a special place in my heart because that's where I grew up and spent a good portion of my life. It carries my childhood story and lots of experiences. Even though I closed my living in Chicago chapter that will never change my history. In class today we briefly read a short origin myth about the Navajo people. I learned about how most origin stories/myths are wrote, it impacted me by educating me on this specific topic because every story is different in their own way. I might use this knowledge by implying or relating it to more stories/origin myths we read in this class.

Write about a time you felt connected to nature, like the kinship in Native American myths.

I feel most connected with nature in the summer. Just one a nice summer day when you can feel the sun radiating on your skin, feel the hot sand under your feet, see the birds and bugs, and hear the waves of the ocean. I also feel very connected in the fall when the color of leaves on the trees start to change into colors of orange, brown, red, and yellow, you can smell pumpkin spice in the air, and feel the cool fall breeze, and all the animals start to migrate. This is when I feel most connected to nature maybe not on the same level of the Natives but in my own way.
