People sometimes feel the need to step away from their normal routines or environments in order to better understand themselves. Describe a time when you needed distance from a situation, place, or group of people in order to think more clearly or gain perspective. What did that experience teach you about yourself?

There was a time when I needed to step away from a stressful situation at school because everything felt overwhelming with assignments and activities, and expectations. Taking some time away, even just being alone for a while, helped me calm down and think more clearly. Once I had that space, I realized I didn’t have to handle everything perfectly and that it was better to take things one step at a time. This experience taught me that stepping away from a stressful situation can help me reset my mindset and understand my feelings better.
