Reflect on a time when you had to rely on someone else. How did it feel?

I rely on my friend mariah sometimes to pick me up in the morning for school. Although i trust i her i dont like relying on people for things especially when they don't go through with it. It makes it feel like a waste of time..

Describe a time when you took a hiatus from something important. What led to the break, and how did it impact you?

I take a brief haitus everyday at school. Its when i either zone oout or take a bathroom break so that i can. reload my brain. Sometimes school is just to much so haitus are important as long as you are cautious about it

Use a hyperbole, an understatement, and a litotes to describe today's lesson.

Hyperbole: Today’s lesson dumped a mountain of information on us all at once. Understatement: The lesson required a bit of focus. Litotes: Today’s lesson was not exactly simple.

As the first semester comes to an end, take time to reflect on your learning and growth in this course. In a well-developed response, explain what you enjoyed most about the class, identify the project or assignment you found most engaging, and discuss which aspect of the course you connected with the most (such as poetry, fiction, writing, or discussion). Finally, reflect on one area where you feel you need additional support or improvement as we move into the spring semester.

The thing I enjoyed most about this class is when we get excused from work. i think the project we just presented 'Our Poem recitation' was the most engaging and fun to do with the posters. My least favorite are the blog post and how repetitive they are. I think I connected the most witht the short stories we read with deeper meaning than the poems personally. For next semester i'm gonna try my best to turn everything in on time especially these blog post \

Many holidays center around traditions. Describe one tradition that is important to you or your family and explain why it still matters (or why it no longer does).

My favorite holiday tradition is Christmas obviously. No matter what me and my family always celebrate christmas and its all ways a fun time to cherish. My favorite part is opening gifts and watching christmas movies. Although Christmas doesn't seem to feel as magical as it used to its still always a exciting time and I look forward to celebrating every year.

How have the holidays changed as you have grown older? Compare your experiences of the holidays during childhood with how you experience them now, focusing on shifts in perspective, responsibilities, or emotional meaning.

Since Ive been little the Holiday spirit has lifted more more. When you're younger you still believe in fairytales like Santa and have little to no responsibilities so it always felt more magical. As I've gotten older uts not as magical or exciting as it was once upon a time
